Region 2 is one of 18 Regions that comprise the Arabian Horse Association. We were organized in 1976 as a 501c5, not-for-profit, California Corporation. Our geographical territory is central California. Our borders extend from the Salinas area in the North to the San Fernando Valley in the South and from the Pacific Ocean on the West to the California/Nevada border in the East. Region 2 is pleased to announce the Regional Sport Horse and Dressage Championships will be held April 5 - 6 in Temecula, Ca at Galway Downs, home of the 2028 Olympic equestrian events!
This show is being held in conjunction with the Rancho California Spring Show!

2024 Region 2 Championship Endurance Ride Results!
Region 2 recently had their 2024 Championship Endurance Ride on October 28th with 5 starters and 4 finishers.

Congratulations to the Region 2 Youth Judging Team!
They recently competed at the 2024 U.S. Nationals in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The Region 2 team placed 5th in every AHA Jr Team division!
In addition, Marley placed 1st in Reasons Performance and 10th in Performance Placings.
We would like to thank the Region 2 Board, local clubs and all those who donated to make this trip possible.

Don and Carol Hirons Memorial Trophy Awarded for the first time!
Local equestrian enthusiasts Don and Carol Hirons’s impact and memory lives on in a new memorial trophy bearing their names. The Central Coast of California Arabian Horse Association (CCCAHA) took up the reins to develop this trophy to honor the legacy of these two founding members. The Don and Carol Hirons Memorial Trophy was recently awarded by the CCCAHA to its first recipient, Mikaela Hardesty.
